WinBap Kids
WinBap Kids aims to help our children grow in their friendships, their understanding of who they are, and as followers of Jesus. Everyone is welcome to join our Sunday morning groups, whether that is every week, every other week, or simply whenever the family situation allows.
Sunday Mornings with WinBap Kids
WinBap Kids (children under the age of eleven) start our Sunday morning service with the rest of the church family, where we join together in a time of worship. After about 20 minutes the children head off to their own groups to learn more about God, Jesus and the Bible:
Crèche (0-4yrs)
Our crèche is for all children who are not yet a school. They meet in the Tweedley room which is upstairs next to where the main church service is held. Our lovely team of volunteers are there to welcome you and you little one. During the session the children can enjoy playing with a wide variety of toys in a safe environment and will also be provided with a snack. You are more than welcome to stay with your child, but we encourage you to leave them and go and enjoy the service. Our volunteers will come and get you if needed.
Little Church (Year R to Year 6)
Little Church is for all children in school years R to 6. They meet downstairs in the church hall and, unless it isn’t appropriate, follow what the adults are learning about upstairs so that families are able to talk about what they have learnt at church together. We either meet together as one big group or separate into two groups based on age (KS1 & KS2). But however we meet, our sessions are full of fun with games, crafts, videos, Bible activities and always some form of food!
Missed Little Church this week? No worries, as you can find out what we have been learning and find some activities to do at home in our children’s and families resources.
If your child is feeling a bit nervous and wants to stay in the service with you then that is fine, but as friendship is a really important aspect of growing up, we encourage children to be part of the groups.
WinBap Kids groups finish when the service does, at which point parents are asked to come and collect their children, so that we know they are safe.
Other Events
WinBap Kids is not just about Sunday’s. Throughout the year we run a number of events, ranging from kids only sleepovers, to pancake parties and walks for all the family.

Children are safe at WBC
We value the importance of security and safety and are committed to the safeguarding of all the children in our care. All our leaders and helpers are DBS checked, and we have two designated Safeguarding Officers. Any concerns or issues, please contact us immediately.
