Our Location
Winchester Baptist Church is located on City Road, just down from the railway station. The offices are accessed from the entrance on Swan Lane (the road behind the church).
Parking
Parking at our offices is limited to six spaces, but the church is well served by nearby car parks:
- Denplan Car Park (Covered, Under Denplan Court. Note: Sundays and evenings only.)
A 2 minute walk from the church up a moderate incline and 1 minute from the Swan Lane offices on level ground.
This Car Park is between Victoria Road (off Andover Road) and Hyde Street.
5 spaces are accessible from Hyde Street (take the right hand little lane between Homerise House and SEE; do not park in Wyeth House spaces).
40 spaces are accessible from the bottom of Victoria Road. From there either walk through under Denplan Court out onto Hyde Street or up Victoria Road, left onto Andover Road and left onto City Road for the front of the church - Andover Rd Car Park (Open-Air) At the intersection of Andover Rd and Worthy Lane, accessed through Worthy Lane - a 3.5 minute walk mainly on level ground. This often has a car boot sale Sunday mornings in the summer, though
- Tower Street Multi-Storey Car Park Between Tower Street and Sussex Street, accessed through either road. A 3.5 minute walk part of which has a gentle incline
- St Peter's Car Park (Open-Air) Accessed by turning left off North Walls into Hyde Abbey Road - a 4 minute walk up the incline and narrow footpath of North Walls
