Missionaries we support
We are a church committed to mission and are so privileged to support three superb, quality, overseas missionary families who sacrificially serve the Lord in different areas. Our intention is to support a small number of people and projects well rather than spread ourselves too thinly.
Our aim is to have a team from the church that visits one of our missionaries each year. A team has already gone to Lesotho (and our Youth might be going again late December 07). We plan to send a team to the Middle East in February 08 and to DR Congo some time in 2009.
August and Anita Basson- 'Growing Nations' in Lesotho

August and Anita (with their children August Jr, Gustav and Anné) live and work in Tebelong, Lesotho. Their ministry is a holistic combination of pastoring (running a local LEC Church), AIDS education, teaching the principles of Conservation Agriculture and, recently, providing day-care for orphans.
They are in the process of moving to Maphutseng to build a more central base there. This will involve establishing the local infrastructure from scratch. We have a Gift Day on 7th June 08 to raise the funds to build them a house and home in this new location.
